10.5: Outside the Bar

Carly stormed out of the bar. *Why'd they have to go and ask me about my pack?!* she thought angrily, *I was having such a good time too!* She punched a lamppost which broke in half and thousands of sparks and shards of broken glass flew from it as the bulbs hit the ground. Just then, a man in a dark trench-coat and a hat appeared out from the dark alley. "Excuse me." he said, "Would you mind coming with me for a second?"
Carly glared at him, "I wouldn't mess with me right now, you're likely end up hospitalized."
"Oh I don't think that would be a problem." he said, "With the right weapons, anyone, even someone like you, wouldn't stand a chance."
"Someone like me? I don't think so." Carly said smugly.
"I'm well aware of the fact that you're a werewolf." He said, "I've come for a DNA sample, and I'll take it by force if necessary."
Getting fed up with the witty banter, Carly decided to transform. She shifted into sense form and charged at him. "GRRRRRRRAAAH!!" She yelled. The man quickly stepped out of the way. And as he did, he threw something at the ground. There was a bright flash. "AAARGH!! MY EYES!" Carly shouted, shielding her eyes from the light.
"You see?" the man said.
Just then, Yukity stepped out of the bar. "Hey Carly! Are you all- Hey! What are you doing in that form!?" he asked, noticing Carly was in sense form, "Someone might see you!" Carly glared at him and pointed to the strange man, who chuckled.
"Oh I already know about both of you." he said, "Now if you'll come quietly, no one will get hurt."

Just then, Carly passed out as an after effect of the flash bomb.
"No way in Hell!" Yukity said lunging at the Man. The Man threw another bomb to the ground, another bright flash appeared. "ARRRRRG!!!" Yukity said falling to his knees next to the passed out Carly. The Man walked up to the two passed out werewolves. "hum, good samples..." he muttered to himself and he pulled a syringe case out of his coat. he knelt down near the wolves and extracted a syringe. he mercilessly plunged it into the flesh of Carly's arm. he pulled out a few ounces of blood, then put the sample in a different case. he repeated the process three more times, two of them being for Yukity. after he had his four samples he stood and looked the two creatures over with a condescending expression. "disgusting animals..." he spat as he turned away from them.

"So, what exactly was it that you did to those two?" Zangetsu said from right beside the man.
"Where did you come from?!" The man said, jumping back.
"Over there." Zangetsu said, pointing down the street.
"Are you with them?" The man asked.
"Well, I wasn't with them here, but I am their friend."
"Well, then you'll get the same treatment! vile beast!!" he said as he threw another flash grenade at Zangetsu.
Zangetsu pulled a sword out of nowhere and in seconds he had cut the grenade in half and hit the pieces away.
"I see that you are much more skilled than the other two, you must be the pack leader. Oh well, I had more weapons in case something like this happened." He said as he pulled some sort of pistol out of his jacket and shot at Zangetsu.
Zangetsu somehow managed to dodge the speeding bullet, even though the shooter was but a few feet away. "Why does everyone think that I'm the leader?" He said to himself as he looked back an saw a light get hit by the bullet.

"If you just give me the samples you took, I'll let you go." Zangetsu said to the man.
"What if I don't give them to you?" The man replied.
"Then I'll have to take them from you." Zangetsu said calmly.
"Fine, here, take them." The man said handing two samples over.
"You gave them up too easily, give me your extras." Zangetsu ordered.
"i don't know what you are talking about, i only took those." the man stated pompously
Zangetsu stepped up to the man threateningly. the man finched back, but did not surrender anything. zangestsu calmly grabbed the man's shirt collar and hoisted him off the ground by it.
"aagggh...!" the man gasped for air and clawed at his throat.
"will you give them?"
"i don't..." the man started but was cut off when Zangetsu tightened his hold.
"F-Fine, *cough, cough, gasp* fine. here! *gasp*" Zangetsu set the man down. "I only have a second sample of the boy though." He lied as he handed over one more sample, rubbing his throat all the while.
"Okay then, you may go." Zangetsu said, stepping aside. The man looked at him then ran over to his motorcycle and sped off.

just then, the rest of the werewolves in the bar exited it; Aven carried Nigel, and the others followed.
"oh, look, Carly and Yukity are ko'd too...." Lunina said looking down at them. Simone bent down and picked Carly up, casually slung her over her shoulder like it happened everyday; it almost did, and started waling. Zangetsu bent and grabbed Yukity before following. he didn't mention the man or why the two were knocked out.
